Introduction to Manufacturing Method and Process of Cemented Carbide Die
1. The selected material is cemented carbide {tungsten steel}. Generally, the drawing die is made of cemented carbide YG8 and YG6, and the shaping die is made of soft and ductile materials such as YG15 and YG20.
2. Grind the plane and outer circle, and grind the inner hole. The purpose of grinding the plane and the outer circle is to have the same core as the outer mold sleeve, which is beneficial to the service life of the cemented carbide mold. Internal hole grinding can be done with internal grinding lathe or bench drill.
3. The outer mold sleeve is inlaid. The process includes drying, cold packing and shrink packing.
4. Inner hole polishing. The drawing die can be polished on the bench drill, the special-shaped die can be polished manually, and the large hole should be polished on the lathe.
5. Polished coat. The coat can be polished by lathe and grinder.
6. Inspection and packaging.
