Product description
Cemented carbide anvils is an important component in the production of synthetic diamond and is subjected to high temperature and high pressure alternating load during the process of diamond synthesis, and its life duration directly determines the production cost of diamond.
The artificial diamond synthesis industry is mainly based on the six-sided top synthesis process, which is a hydrostatic catalyst method, and the top hammer material is mainly YG8/K20 cemented carbide.
The basic principle is that Cemented carbide six anvils are used on each of the six faces and act on the high-pressure cavity made of hexahedral chlorite at the same time, so that the graphite in the cavity is transformed into diamond by high temperature and pressure under the action of the catalyst.
Applied to artificial PCD, high pressure physics and geonomy:
l High hardness and compressive properties (HRA>85, bearing pressure above 5000MPa).
l High strength as well as high toughness (carbide top hammer is subjected to large tensile stress >35kg/mm2 at the bevel during work).
l High temperature and wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Application: Cemented carbide six-sided top hammer is used to synthesize artificial diamond, the synthesis process requires the highest quality and stability of cemented carbide.
