Product description
Tungsten carbide floating plug die, also known as inner plug, is mainly used for drawing copper tubes, and is used with tube drawing die (also known as drawing die), the floating plug is not fixed in the copper tube, through friction with the copper tube and the reaction force when the copper tube deformation to achieve a balanced state, so it is called floating plug, as opposed to the fixed plug. The length of copper tube drawn by the floating die can reach more than one thousand meters. The floating plug controls the inner diameter size of the copper tube, and the tube drawing die controls the outer diameter size of the copper tube.
Tungsten Carbide Floating Die is generally made of carbide, its grades are YG6, YG6X, YRL10, etc. Its surface roughness requirements are very high, generally polished to a mirror finish, no cracks and other defects.
